WiFi calling isn't working. What should I do?
WiFi calling will only work when you can't connect to our mobile network - it won't turn just turn on and work automatically.
Since 4G calling is turned on automatically, your phone will default to 4G calling as long as you have a good 4G connection. If your 4G connection is poor and you have WiFi calling turned ON, WiFi calling will activate.
If WiFi calling is turned OFF, calls will move to 3G, then to 2G. This is the standard process for all calls.
If WiFi calling is turned ON, you haven't got a mobile network connection, and calls still won't go through, there's an issue. Here are the steps you can take:
Check that your phone is compatible
Make sure your phone is up-to-date - if it's not, run the update and restart your phone
Find WiFi calling in your phone's settings (where you can find it depends on the manufacturer - visit Vodafone's device guides for more details)
If WiFi calling still won't work, get in touch and we'll help work it out.
