What factors affect network coverage?

Whatever network you’re on, your mobile signal can sometimes be less than perfect. But mobile signal issues aren’t always caused by how far you are from the nearest mobile phone mast. Sometimes signal blackspots can happen because of the location of the building you’re in, or the building itself. All mobile phone networks around the world suffer from them. You can experience them wherever you are, even in cities with lots of mobile phone masts. As well as this, we may need to do maintenance to fix a fault or improve our service from time to time. If you’re experiencing a problem with the network, please use our Network Coverage Checker to see if we’re already working on it.

What network does VOXI use?

What should I do if I can’t make or receive calls?

Check for any network coverage issues in your area by using our Network Status Checker above. If there are no issues reported, you might need to try a manual roam test or a hard reset test to refresh your connection to the network. What should I do if my data connection slows down or stops?

Check for any network coverage issues in your area using our Network Status Checker above. If there are no issues reported, check that your mobile data is turned on in your settings. If that’s not the problem, try a manual roam test or hard reset test to refresh your connection to the network. If you still can’t get a data connection, follow these instructions to check and update your APN settings.

How can I get 5G?

You'll need one of our 5G-ready plans and a 5G phone to connect to our 5G network. You'll also need to be in an area that has 5G coverage. If you're using a 5G-enabled phone in an area that doesn't have 5G coverage, your phone will automatically swap to 4G, 3G or 2G - depending on the signal that's available. Your 5G phone will then automatically reconnect to the 5G network once you're back in a 5G area.
